Rio Grande Club Golf Course opened for play in 2001. The course was designed by Red Stone Development Company.
Located at the base of breathtaking Wolf Creek Pass, the Rio Grande Club and its surrounding trophy-home community is a semi-private resort and club featuring our majestic 18 hole championship golf course. Rio Grande Club is named after the river that flows through the course. Golfers will have to make a tricky shot over this mighty river. Surrounded by the two million-acre Rio Grande National Forest, the scenic landscape is dotted with sandstone outcroppings and groves of pines, aspens, and cottonwoods. It is a true mountain golf course with dramatic elevation changes that add an interesting element to the round. There are also fast-running creeks winding throughout the golf course, most prominently the Alder Creek on the back nine. Rio Grande Club's rolling terrain in combination with the abundance of trees demand accuracy and careful strategy.
